Actor Shaheer Sheikh and his wife Ruchika Kapoor embraced parenthood for the very first time earlier this month. The couple became proud parents of a baby girl and have now declared his name. Taking to his Instagram, the actor shared an unseen photo with his wife Ruchikaa Kapoor.

The throwback picture was from their pregnancy days. In the picture, Ruchikaa is seen in a purple jumpsuit while the actor is all cool in casual clothes. Shaheer has revealed that they have named the little girl 'Ananya'. Sharing the picture Shaheer wrote, "Blessed with the gift of life. ❤️Filled with immense gratitude… need all your love and good wishes for the journey ahead. Keep us in your prayers #Anaya."

On the work front, Shaheer is currently seen reprising his role as Dev in Sony Tv's Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aese Bhi 2.

Jacqueline Fernandez took to social media to post a couple of pictures of herself in a black floral lehenga. Sporting open hair and a lovely necklace the actress shared her look from her visit to a leading entertainment channel for promotion of her movie. With a complementing ring and a bracelet the actress pulled off a beautiful look and it's safe to say that she got the fan's attention as the comments section was full of praises for her appearance. She styled this charcoal black set from Rohit Bal costing Rs. 55,000. Her hair in soft curls with bronzed makeup and tinge of shimmer.

Jacqueline's film Bhoot Police recently released on OTT and the film has been praised by many on the social media, the actress has also been receiving praises for her part in the film.

Cirkus, Ram Setu, Kick 2, Bachchan Pandey and Attack make up the list of upcoming movies of Jacqueline Fernandez.

Actor Bhagyashree had become a nationwide rage in the 90s with the release of the film Maine Pyar Kiya. The film also marked superstar Salman Khan's first film as the lead actor. While Bhagyashree soon left the film industry to focus on her personal life, her performance in her debut film was etched in the hearts of the people forever. Therefore when she decided to return to the screen, it gave many cinema lovers a reason to rejoice. Bhagyashree made her grand debut with the pan-India film Thalaivii which was released in theatres over a week ago. She essayed the role of Jayalalithaa's mother in the biographical film starring Kangana Ranaut in the titular role.

Days after the release of the film, Bhagyashree spoke to Bollywood Hungama about her return to the movies and what she plans for the future. Talking about the response coming her way for Thalaivii, a delightful Bhagyashree said,  “I have had a lovely response. People have very kind and sweet things to say that 'I looked very beautiful on-screen.' When everyone comes and tells me you look very beautiful on screen, I feel like laughing. I am playing the mother. But, of course, it feels really nice to hear that from the audience. It was a small role, but to be able to leave an impact on the audience where they notice that role and they liked me in that. So, it gives me great happiness that I am still in people's hearts."

Bhagyashree distinctly remembers the warm welcome she had on her first day back on a film set after years. Recalling the experience, she said, "I was very nervous. I did not walk on the set feeling normal. I had this entire padded saree and blouse and it was very hot. I was entering the set feeling like ‘OMG I am looking like a round ball of... I don't know.’ I am so used to seeing myself and getting comments from everyone on Instagram saying that I am healthy and I am fit. And here I am walking on the set like a ball. So I walked on the set in that but yes, what was lovely was the way I was welcomed on the set saying 'oh my god, we are so happy to be able to work with you'. And all of them were fans of MPK and having watched the film even in Tamil and Telugu plenty of times over. So yes, that gave me a lot of confidence and made me feel very very nice and suddenly I felt at home felt that this is where I am supposed to be."

The actress also spoke about the major difference she observed in today's filmmaking process and the one in the 90s. While she said that the scale of both Maine Pyaar Kiya and Thalaivii or her upcoming film Radhe Shyam were the same, it was the visual narrative that she said has seen a drastic change. "Today, the way one narrates films is very different. I think it is finally the vision of the director and the writer that we as artists have to put forth. So it’s all about making a scene perfect. It is not about your character being perfect, it’s about making a scene perfect so it touches the hearts of the audience. Earlier, facing was very important. It’s no longer that. Today, you can have the back to the camera and yet convey a lot of emotion, with your voice or feeling or with the way it is shot. You needn’t show an artist with glycerin pouring down your eyes. I am just saying that the visual narrative has changed over the years."

While Bhagyashree has stayed away from the industry, she has always been in touch with the craft by watching movies and learning from the youngsters especially her kids, Abhimanyu and Avantika Dassani. "I have been in touch with the craft. And having my son also get into films, we have been aware. It makes it possible for the younger generation to teach us all the newness that comes on the set. So it’s a lot of learning process in practicality. I have always felt that in the old times we would say that you should learn from your elders, but I say that in today’s time we should learn from the youngsters as we get to learn more. Because it is tomorrow's world and things are changing so fast that if you are not up with the times you will become a dinosaur. We have international shows being watched on Netflix, Amazon, and everyone got a smartphone. So the entire audience keeps seeing it. So it’s not just a niche audience but your complete audience has been exposed to a lot of international cinema, drama, everything. So it is important for us as actors to keep up with the time. We have to be ahead of the curve. We have to think about what more creativity we can add when we are performing," she revealed.

Bhagyashree also said that she does not regret leaving the industry at her prime and does not believe in dwelling on the past. "I don't like to look back. I like to look ahead. Whatever decision I made at that time was good for that time. Today, what decision I make will affect my future. So today I want to make the decision to do more work right now. That's what I am looking forward to," she said.

When asked if she ever worries about getting substantial roles in the industry which is a largely male-dominated industry, she said, "Things are changing as the society is changing. Today lot more women are stepping out of their homes, doing work, doing different things in their life. So it will reflect even in the film. You will see a woman cop, a woman lawyer also which wouldn't be there in the bygone era where certain roles were only given to men. So I wouldn't say that I am in the space where ‘ab kya karenge, ab mummy ji ka role karenge’. It won’t be like that. I would look to doing different roles, playing different characters with a backdrop and needn’t be a hero or the heroine’s mother. I mean there would be much more in today’s time because the scripts are changing and it is no longer a patent story. There's so much more to the creative field right now."

Bhagyashree will next be seen in the pan-India film Radhe Shyam co-starring Prabhas and Pooja Hegde.

The first-ever season of Bigg Boss OTT got over last weekend with Divya Agarwal emerging out as the winner. The show ran for 6 weeks and we saw a lot of elements be it love, friendships or fights. One of the relationships that became the highlight of the season was of Shamita Shetty and Divya Agarwal's.

The duo initially became good friends however locked horns as the show went ahead. Their foeship continued even till the end of the show. As the show is over and both of them have come out of the house, fans were wondering if they will continue their enmity or turn into a new leaf. Recently, while giving an interview to a tabloid Divya said that she hasn't till now and even won't speak to Shamita first. She says that she wants Shamita to contact her first and see how she approaches.

Divya also added that throughout the show Shamita's approach towards her was full of misunderstandings and she would like to see effort from her end and want to know her in real life. She concluded and says that she had kind of forgive but hasn't forgotten.

The Dress Up Season is here and it’s only a gala when there’s a red carpet. The Primetime Emmy Awards 2021, the 73rd edition of premier television awards was held on Sunday. The Emmys recognise the best television medium has to offer. They serve the same function as Academy Awards for movies, and like Oscars, they are the most prestigious awards for the field. The Crown won the event by sweeping seven big awards. Jason Sudeikis won for his performance in Ted Lasso, while the show won the Outstanding Comedy Series award. Unlike the mostly virtual ceremony of last year necessitated by the Covid-19 pandemic, this year saw a full-fledged in-person ceremony at Event Deck at L.A. Live, in Los Angeles. Actor and comedian Cedric Antonio Kyles, better known by his stage name Cedric the Entertainer, hosted the live ceremony. Let’s take a look at all the looks we loved at the big event.

GILLIANA

Gilliana wore a simple white fringe top with a heavily frayed skirt from Chloe. She styled the monotone piece and kept her makeup and styling simple and chic.

Billy Porter walked the carpet spreading his wings and soaring looking absolutely stunning in a custom made Ashi Studio design. His hair was neatly pulled back. He styled bootcut, high waist pants with a skin tight top and heavily pleated sleeves with a shiny diamond choker.

Kathryn dressed smart and crisp for the event. She was seen in a tube, sweetheart neck top with a massive belt and cigarette fit bottoms, both from Lanvin. She paired it with pumps with an intricate netted detail. She kept her makeup and styling simple and looked like an absolute boss girl.

Jennifer Coolidge looked smart and gorgeous as ever in a black body hugging gown from Christian Siriano. The dress featured sneak peak long flowy, balloon type sleeves with a high neck and fitted silhouette.

Cynthia Eviro looked like a goddess in pure white at the Emmys. She styled a simple white, deep halter neck dress with a thin white belt and a backless detail. The dress featured a heavy peacock shaded trail. The heavily feathered trail is gorgeous and matches perfectly with white.

Yara Shahidi was a bright green pop on the carpet. She styled a green gown with a waist cinch with a sweetheart neck and pulled off the shoulder sleeves. This custom made green Dior was styled with brown pointy pumps with green toned makeup, matte lips and neatly styled hair with a diamond choker.

Mandy Moore is seen dressed in a red hot dress from Caroline Herrera. The dress features a corset top with noodle straps and a billowing gown. Her makeup was soft and dewy with a brown fringe and a bold red lip.

Elizabeth Olsen was seen dressed in a white plunging neck dress with a flowy silhouette and long A- Line sleeves. Her makeup was dewy with soft waves in her hair.

Kaley was seen in a bright neon yellow custom made Vera Wang dress with a high slit, plunging neck and floral sleeve details. She paired it with bright heels and soft makeup with bangs and a messy bun.

Sarah Paulson was seen in a blood red Caroline Herrera which featured a plunging neck and heavy balloon sleeves and a cinch at the waist. Her makeup was sparkly with her hair in a middle partition.

Kate Winslet was seen in a body hugging Giorgio Armani plunging neck sheer dress with a short trail, dewy makeup and messy bun with stray hair framing her face.

Dan Levy made an appearance in blue only to help us get rid of our blues. He was seen wearing an asymmetrical Maison Valentino suit with a tie up blazer and fitted trousers.

Anya Taylor Joy was seen in a stunning body snug Dior  satin slip dress. She paired it with a popping yellow trailing cape. The satin dress was backless and she looked royal with her hair tied up in a middle partition updo.

Michaela was seen in a bright mermaid blue slit dress with pleats on the top half with a massive slit and a one shoulder. She looked stunning with crimped hair and dewy makeup.

Taraji Henson was seen dressed in a gorgeous black sheer dress with a risqué plunge and white sequin lining. Her makeup was dewy with her hair in a neat top knot and minimal jewellery.

Jurnee Smollett was seen dressed in a custom made frilly Dior dress. The dress featured a heavily tulle pleated tube with a poofy gown and minimal Jewellery. Her lipstick was a maroon pop on a shimmery Face ID makeup.

Mindy Kalling styles a gorgeous black Caroline Herrera gown with a tube top and a bow belt cinch. The dress featured a flared gown with a low trail.

Sophia Bush was seen dressed in a beautiful blush pink gown with a low neck and cap sleeves and heavy trail. This millennial pink dress was from Marakarian. Her makeup was soft with bright red lips and light jewellery

Catherine was seen at the carpet with Michael Kirk Douglas in a maroon thigh high slit dress from Christian Ottaviano. Her makeup was simple and perfectly complemented the sweetheart neck dress.

Keri Russell was seen in a Zuhair Murad custom made heavily rhinestone embellished gown. She styled this long trailed piece that featured a plunge, a slit and rose gold hued feather lined sleeves. She walked the carpet with husband Matthew Rhys who was seen in a crisp black suit.

Jean Smart was seen dressed in a gorgeous black figure with a sheer yoke neck. The figure hugging number was very flattering and made her look every bit of stunning that she is.

Ellen was seen dressed in a full black set with heavy rhinestone embellishment lining. The pants featured a flared cut with a fitted silhouette. Her set was from Ellie Saab. She looked breathtaking as always.

Michael was seen in a pop neon set from Christopher John Rogers. She styled a tie up tube top with a massive bow at the back with an A-Line skirt with heels matching the tones of the dress.

Late actress Sridevi’s younger daughter Khushi Kapoor is taking the internet by storm with her amazing fashion sense.

The 20-year-old stunner recently shared two pictures, one of herself in a super cool and casual look. She wore a yellow overlap, shorts and crop top while flaunting her bright smile while posing in front of a pink auto-rickshaw and another one is a photo of a serene landscape with trees and a beach.

She was seen in an off-white open button shirt along with a black sports bra underneath styled with off-white shorts. She also added a chromatic pink bag with the look while accessorizing the outfit with a pair of sunglasses with an off-white frame and a pearl beaded bracelet along with gold hoops.

She opted for a fresh and minimal makeup look while keeping her hair all-natural and loose. She also captioned the post as “My happy place.”

On the work front, Khushi Kapoor is currently studying at New York Film Academy.

Filmmaker Zack Snyder celebrated Batman Day by sharing a photo of him wearing Ben Affleck's Batman cowl, proving the perks of directing a DC movie.

Snyder took to his Vero account to post an image of himself wearing the cowl. He wrote in the caption, “Let’s be honest if you were left alone with it you would do it too #BATMANDAY”

After the massive success of the MCU, Snyder was tasked with creating a cinematic universe of DC characters, starting with Henry Cavill's Man of Steel in 2013. Snyder's first two DC films were controversial for various reasons, but Zack Snyder's Justice League, released earlier this year, has been praised by fans and critics alike. The director also directed Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

One of the most controversial choices made in Snyder's DC movies was casting Affleck as Batman. Affleck's version of Batman focused on an older Bruce Wayne, one who has been fighting crime for years and saw Robin killed by the Joker. Affleck's Batman has become more appreciated over the years, with many now praising Affleck's more mature and aged portrayal of the character.

Affleck was at one point going to direct, write, and star in a solo Batman movie, but Warner Bros. recast Robert Pattinson in the role after Affleck dropped out.Affleck is most known for playing Batman at this point, and similarly, DC will always be a part of Snyder's legacy. Even if he won't get to finish his Justice League trilogy, its clear Snyder still enjoys engaging with fans and posting DC content.

On the work front, Ben Affleck would now appearing as Batman alongside Michael Keaton in The Flash.It's unknown how big of a role he will have in the movie, but given the actor's past comments, it will likely be the end of his DCEU career.

Tamil superstar Vijay has filed a case against 11 persons, including his father SA Chandrasekar and his mother Shoba. His civil lawsuit comes in the wake of alleged efforts by his father and members of his fan club, Vijay Makkal Iyakkam, to use this name and photographs during elections.

In the lawsuit, Vijay has claimed against the office-bearers of the fan club, who had used his name to gather public and other poll-related activities. The case will be heard on September 27.

Earlier, Chandrasekar had tried to register Vijay’s fan club as a political party under All India Thalapathy Vijay Makkal Iyakkam with the Election Commission of India. After the news got viral, Vijay issued a statement that said, “I inform my fans and the public that there is no relation whatsoever between the political party that my father has started and me, directly or indirectly.”

According to the reports of a tabloid, Chandrasekar has responded by saying that there is no family without problems. He also said that fathers and sons may disagree but they eventually sort out their differences. Moreover, Shoba also publicly announced that her husband had not taken Vijay’s permission before turning his fan club into a political outfit.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Vijay is currently busy shooting for his upcoming film Beast. Written and directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, the film is scheduled to have a theatrical release next year on Pongal.

On Sunday, Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi-starrer Love Story’s pre-release event was held in Hyderabad. Director Sekhar Kammula, producers Narayan Das K Narang, Suniel Narang, and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao were also present at the event, while superstars Aamir Khan, Chiranjeevi, and Telangana minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav graced the ceremony as the chief guests.

At the press conference event, praising Naga Chaitanya on the film’s success, Aamir said, “I am feeling happy to be here for the event of Love Story. A few days back, I watched the trailer of Love Story. I liked it very much and told Chay that I would love to be there at the event. I met Chay first time for Laal Singh Chaddha, and working with him on the sets was a nice and special experience. We work with so many people. Sometimes, we get an opportunity to work with someone who is not only a good actor and a creative person, but they also win our hearts. I wanted to tell his parents that he is so well brought up but then I decided to come here and tell this to his fans too. Almost every day, I and our team miss you, Chay. I am very excited to see Love Story in a theatre on the 24th September. All the very best to the entire team.”

At the event, Chiranjeevi surprised everyone with his dance moves with Sai Pallavi. He conveyed his best wishes to the team and said, “I felt happy when Aamir Khan said good things about Naga Chaitanya. Chay is a balanced person who treats success and failure the same. He is very selective and always does films that are fresh. I think Love Story has something new to offer. All the best to Chaitanya and team.”

In his speech, he thanked Aamir for coming down all the way to encourage the young stars and also urged the governments of two Telugu states to help the Telugu film industry in these Covid times.

Naga also thanked Aamir and Chiranjeevi for supporting the team of Love Story. He said, “Thank you so much Megastar Chiranjeevi sir, for gracing the event and supporting us. Off-screen, you are a mega human being, and the way you supported the industry during the pandemic was very inspiring. Aamir sir, I still can’t believe he is here. I spent 45 days with you for Laal Singh Chaddha‘s shooting. What I have learned from you and those memories will keep teaching me for the rest of my life. It’s a great opportunity to get to know you and spend time with you. Looking forward to a lot more.”

He further added, “I went deep to perform for Love Story, and no character influenced me like this one before. It happened only because of director Sekhar Kammula. After observing his honesty towards filmmaking, the limit to which he goes for the characters, and the kind of importance he gives to his actors, I felt that I can go that extra mile. After the journey with Kammula, you will come out as a better actor and better human being. And that’s what happened to me. Thank you, Sekhar for that journey. Thanks to the entire team for being patient with me and support.”

Love Story revolves around a couple (Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi) who lands in Hyderabad to fulfill their aspirations. The movie is scheduled to be released on September 24th in theatres.
